The prize was awarded in competition with the top 32 international projects selected for the Polish festival. The award was accepted in person by the film\u2019s producer, Ivan Spassov.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"794\">Earlier, \u201cThe Cruel Way\u201d received the award for Best Adventure Film at the International Bansko Film Fest, won the GRAND PRIX at the \u201cEHO\u201d Festival in Skopje, North Macedonia, earned two awards at the International Documentary Rodopi Film Fest, and was selected for the International Sofia Film Fest 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"975\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">The co-producer of \u201cThe Cruel Way\u201d is Bulgarian National Television.
